A new teaching and visitors centre at Hadlow College in Kent has become the first certified Passivhaus (Passive House – iPHM) education building in the UK.

The 345 m² facility has been designed and constructed by Sussex-based Eurobuild, who specialise in Passivhaus and low energy buildings.

It uses timber panel construction and achieves an airtightness of 0.34m³/h/m².
