 What is passive house, CNN's Jim Boulden reports from Sweden. Sweden's 'passive homes' can be built anywhere. Here you can check the video, which was shot on the 9th of July 2009.
      
The Swedish insulation is needed for the Nordic weather, if you live in Greece, or Hungary, you need different width of insulation. But if you build as much insulation as they do in Scandinavia, your energy needs in your home might drop below the passive house's standard 15 kilowatt / square meter / annum.
