 Prefababricated house industry in Japan is not interested in low energy house building, while traditional buildings has only few centimeters of empty walls and single glass sheet in aluminium frame, with no insulation at all.
      
Deutsche Welle made a video on this subject, interviewing a young Japanese architect and a passive house owner.
